Hiking to the top of the High Dune in the Great Sand Dunes National Park is no easy task. After multiple failed attempts, I set out with two friends on our journey. We really wanted to get to the top of the dunes to catch the sunset. Thankfully after about three hours of the slow trudge, we finally made it and just in time for the sunset.
