Garden of the Gods Park is a geological marvel, known for its towering sandstone rock formations that have stood for thousands of years. This iconic park, designated as a National Natural Landmark, draws visitors from around the world to experience its unique blend of history, beauty, and outdoor recreation. My photography captures not just the breathtaking landscapes but the ever-changing interplay of light and shadow across these ancient stones. Each print reflects my personal journey through the park—whether it’s the warm glow of sunrise illuminating the red rocks or the dramatic storm clouds rolling in from the Front Range. Through these images, I aim to share the soul of this cherished Colorado treasure.
The park is one of my favorite places in the city of Colorado Springs. I have hiked many miles, captured many sunsets, and enjoyed many snow days in the park. Garden of the Gods is also a very fun location to watch the storms roll in off the Front Range of Colorado. I really enjoy the hike to the Siamese Twins rock formation and the High Point Overlook.
